The aesthetics of simple wayfinding

Signage for Zollikerberg Hospital

Zollikerberg Hospital is a private hospital with public mandate. On the one hand, the complex building requires a clear information and guidance system, so that patients, visitors, suppliers and staff can easily find their way around. On the other hand, the building places the highest demands on technology and aesthetics.

Diversity

Frontwork opted for a variety of materials and mounting options for this challenge: stencilled wall painting, route guidance and direction signs of satined acrylic glass or wall-mounted protruding signs and inscriptions which our experts applied directly to glass were all used.

Aesthetics and image-oriented design

The in-house communications department of Zollikerberg Hospital paid particular attention to synergy with the corporate identity in the implementation stage, whereby the focus was on aesthetics and image-oriented design in the construction.
