Energetically communicated.

100 years of St.Gallisch-Appenzellische Kraftwerke AG (SAK).

Nostalgia combined with state-of-the-art technologies for grids and energy: SAK invited customers and the interested public to an open day to celebrate its centennial. SAK supplies the cantons of St. Gallen and Appenzell Ausserrhoden as well as Innerrhoden with reliable, sustainable and low-priced energy.

The three events were held in Kubel (St. Gallen), Montlingen and Speicher with a mobile event system. The theme islands manufactured by Frontwork encourage young and old to interact while having fun and communicate information about grids, green electricity and the future of energy in the process.

All in one

Direction signs, ground markings and signage guide the visitors through the buildings. Image collages show the changes of the last 100 years in an appealing manner: a powerful piece of eastern Switzerland history – from past to present – nostalgia and continuity combined with modern standards.

Success through goal-driven communication

The meeting points consist of wooden counters in rhombic form, from which the SAK logo is derived. The push-on device with a logo and area designation is used for fixing the mount for tablets. Tentering frames with textile printing, roll-ups and customer-specific displays were also prepared.

The goal-driven communication in the preparation process mobilized an average of around 900 visitors per event. Congenial and friendly contact with the visitors, the exciting concept of Frontwork Communication AG and the implementation by Frontwork AG made the events in the Kubel hydroelectric power station, the Montlingen run-of-the-river power plant and the Speicher wood-fired power plant a resounding success.
