A 3D magnum bottle for its 60th birthday

The clean machine: the Handy bottle of Migros becomes a mobile phone charger!

A masterly achievement Handy, the cultural icon for Swiss cleanliness (and also the German word for mobile phone), can now be found in three Migros stores in XXL format as a charger for smartphones.
Frontwork manufactures the outsized 3D Handy bottle as a POS material. The key feature: eight electronically lockable compartments can be found in the iconic bottle shape instead of orange washing-up liquid, which means that smartphone owners can conveniently charge their devices while doing their shopping.

All washed up?

Although the manufacture of the basic fibreglass form for the model had significant initial costs, it can now be reordered for a reasonable price at any time if the charger in the washing-up liquid bottle becomes a real cult.

Two-metre magnum bottle

A big thing: the two-metre magnum bottle would not fit through a door with the stopper attached. That is why the screw top can be removed for transport.

A pretty wrapper – the bottle can be placed at any “hot spot” without the need for any additional installations.

Clean and simple!

There is even a service door on the rear to neatly tuck away “cable spaghetti”.

Handy DNA – an unmistakable icon

Handy Power. Price 2.40. 500ml. Acts powerfully against grease, very economical, with an orange fragrance.
The 3D POS bottle should closely follow the original but nevertheless be recognisable as a charger. Frontwork had to capture the real form, lacquered in exactly the same orange colour and retain existing elements of the packaging. Just one change: the pictogram of a glass on the bottle is now a mobile phone symbol with a battery.

All hot air?

The amalgamation of the technical and visual solutions of the kitchen sink icon provided the Frontwork team with the most enjoyment in the project.

The message: "Charge your 'Handy' with Handy!"

A 3D POS material implementation which you have never seen before! Nice and clean!
