An eye-catcher

Griesser AG from Aadorf (Thurgau) is one of the leading sun protection manufacturers in Europe. Frontwork constructed a creative eye-catcher for the tradition-steeped family-owned company with the wind tunnel, which attracts visitors and enables a clear product advantage to be experienced: protection from severe weather. This is because the blinds from Griesser have wind sensors and are automatically retracted at wind speeds of more than 90 km/h, which successfully prevents storm damage.

The installation is scheduled for use at the “Swissbau” trade fair and other customer events. It consists of a podium with a holding device. The blower and a fixed camera are located in the front and the backdrop has a cornfield with ears of wheat and windows, so that other visitors can see what is happening. An important goal was the minimisation of the noise level. Frontwork solved this challenge and covered the blower with visually appealing sound insulation. The installation is also easy to transport and pack.

The result is impressive: the visitors experience the force of nature which the blinds have to withstand, and Frontwork’s customer Griesser AG is delighted with the interest in the installation.
