New wayfinding in the old spinning works

Signage in Oberurnen

The vast and labyrinthine site of the former spinning mill in Oberurnen was built in 1833 and has been repeatedly modified and upgraded in recent years. Apartments, offices and businesses can be found there nowadays.

Signage from A to Z - everything from a single source

Frontwork created the signage for the complete site from A to Z. Everything stems from a single source, from the concept to the implementation. The fine-tuning was the challenge. It was important for the owners to satisfy the diverse tenants and their needs.

The site is home to a sports outfitters, a tyre shop, a day clinic and various large and small businesses

A colourful mixture of commerce, storage facility, trade and offices can be found in the building. The site is home to a sports outfitters, a tyre shop, a day clinic and various large and small businesses. It also has a small hydropower plant dating from the year 1935, which has been completely renovated in recent years and generates more electricity than is used on the entire site.

The objective was to offer added value to all the tenants: visitors, suppliers and tenants should be able to find their way around the traffic-free site without any difficulty.

Standard overall appearance

The local conditions had given rise to self-made signage. Our solution means that everything has now been consolidated to create a standard overall appearance which is neat and practical and also colour-matched.
