Light and clarity.

Signage in the Baden Cantonal Hospital (KSB).

This is home of state-of-the-art medicine: patients and visitors have to reach their destination quickly and reliably in a pleasant atmosphere at Baden Cantonal Hospital (KSB). The new signage implemented by Frontwork therefore shows them the way.

Ten steles blend into the surroundings in the park-like outdoor area and provide clear and simple wayfinding. LED modules illuminate the acrylic glass fronts at varying intensities.

The entrance to the emergency department is marked with brightly shining 3D letters. The signage of the registration desk and the reception area improves clarity in and around the building.

A floor overview in front of the lift provides information about the individual departments, signs on walls and ceilings point the way to the respective rooms. The implementation includes diverse foil signage and stencilled inscriptions, and the door signs are changed by means of a tried-and-tested interchangeable frame system.

A great challenge

The long-term project has already taken an entire year. The building is being opened in stages. The complete range of signage is required for this project. The great challenge for Frontwork was to install the significant number of direction elements distributed over the vast site – inside and outside, rain or shine. Concept: Designalltag Rinderer GmbH
