Monumental
Signage for the Axa MainTower
Frontwork produced and installed two pylons of impressive size for the Axa MainTower in Zurich Oerlikon. They project up 5.35 and 5.7 metres and match the colour of the façade of dark natural stone and mirrored glass. The pylons have a monumental and elegant impact. Frontwork also implemented all the signage inscriptions in the interior of the MainTower.

Challenging installation with a mobile crane
Frontwork manufactured them of steel and aluminium and provided a high-quality metallic finish on the outside. Frontwork formed the lettering from plexiglas, inserted it through aluminium panels and illuminated it with modern, energy-saving and low-maintenance LEDs to achieve the required aura effect.

A demanding task
Apart from the signage concept, which comes from the CI agency product range, the installation of the pylons was also a demanding task (a) on account of the requirements of the city and architects and (b) on account of the exposed location and the unusual size of the pylons.
