A feast for the eyes.
A new interior design for Läckerli Huus AG.
The Läckerli Huus in Frenkendorf (Canton of Basel-Landschaft) is a feast for the eyes even from the outside. Its golden yellow colour gleams from afar and symbolises the tins of the world-famous Basler Läckerli traditional hard spice biscuit. The façade shows what the visitors will see inside in large lettering: “backen”, “entdecken”, “einkaufen” and “geniessen” (“baking”, “discovery”, “shopping” and “enjoyment”).
The emphatic impression from the outside was also to continue to have an impact inside the building. Läckerli Huus AG turned to the interior designer Dipl. HFG Regula Rechsteiner with this requirement for the design of the top floor (reception area, conference rooms, cafeteria, hallways). She had already designed the renovation and new build of 11 retail outlets in recent years with consideration given to the Corporate Design. Frontwork was given an opportunity to produce the ideas. The specialist for interior design set new accents at various points: in the cafeteria, on the glass walls of the conference rooms, in the hallways as well as for the display cases in the entrance area.
Transparent foil
A transparent foil which wishes the guests “bon appétit” in all the languages of the export countries was used in the cafeteria.
Transparent foils with texts in every language
The decorative foils on the glass walls of the conference rooms provide discretion and improve wayfinding with easily remembered names such as “Basler Läckerli”, “Chocolat-Waffeln” or “Rahmtäfeli”, i.e. product names from the assortment.

Pictures with a magnet system
Numerous pictures and posters (current and historical) in various formats can now be arranged in the corridor and easily changed with a magnet system – with a focus on new products or with catchy brand messages depending on the requirement.

Acoustic frameless frames
Another challenge was the annoying noise in the cafeteria. As a solution, Frontwork provided the walls here with new acoustic frameless frames with an enormous Basler Läckerli print.
